The New Inn is situated at a small village called Burnt Yates approximately 6 miles from Harrogate. It can be reached from Harrogate travelling in the direction of Ripon along the A61 through Killinghall to Ripley.

At the 2nd Ripley roundabout, follow the sign for Pateley Bridge (B6165) and continue for approximately 3 miles. The New Inn can be found on the right hand side. Ample car parking directly adjoins the hotel.

Knaresborough is 10 miles from Burnt Yates, Ripon 10 miles and Pateley Bridge 7.5 miles.
